Remember Why...We Do What We Do

Remember Why...We Do What We Do

Tim Marrin had been a patient at Shriner's Hospital Twin Cities and in 2002 it was announced the hospital would be closing.
The local Shriners did not want that to happen so an organization was formed called Put Children First which consisted of Shriners and Hospital employees. Luckily the Imperial Session was in Minneapolis that summer. Tim and his wife Linnea wrote a song about the hospital called "Put Children First". Their family band recorded the song and sent it to every delegate before the Imperial Session. A vote to keep the hospital open resulted during the Imperial Session.

It's not about us, it's about our Shrine Kids-Our Patients-our hospitals, our Doctors, nurses and staff - operating all of our Shrine Hospitals across the country and around the world.

This is the sole purpose of what we do as Shriners and Shriner Ladies. This needs to be our full focus!
